William Mitchell was a 19th-century British maker/retailer of small precision balance scales, primarily used for jewellers, apothecaries etc - lovely little piece of history
Includes original brass inset weights with fitted wells. The mechanism balances smoothly, making it a beautiful display piece for a study, kitchen or shop interior.
