This is a wonderful old jewellery or trinket box possibly made from pewter. Made in Japan, depicting traditional Japanese images and floral details.
In very nice condition with some patina to it, but this adds to the vintage character of it.
Th hinged lid is in perfect working condition and it is also lined with wood on the inside.
